The concentration problem
Oxidizing a huge volume of dilute exhaust is expensive. A zeolite rotor adsorbs VOCs from the large process stream and desorbs them into a much smaller, richer stream for the oxidizer.

Spray coating, gravure and packaging print, optical film coating, and many electronics lines produce large airflow with low-to-moderate concentration—classic concentrator duty.
Concentrated exhaust typically feeds a three-bed or rotary RTO, or a catalytic oxidizer. Selection depends on chemistry, heat recovery, and plant layout.
High-boiling or easily polymerized species need careful evaluation. Pretreatment may be required for mist, sticky aerosols, or particulate before the rotor.
